Cannot recommend Adira Fitness highly enough! Ami is the best trainer and coach I have ever worked with. I train with Ami 2-3 times a week with my mom, who just turned 60. Ami is able to challenge both of us during the same session, and there are so many types of workouts I've never felt bored, or stuck in a routine that isn't serving me. Gyms and group fitness can feel a bit intimidating, but that isn't the case with Adira Fitness. Ami is enthusiastic about what she does and approaches each workout with passion and kindness. I've learned a lot during my time with Adira Fitness and have gotten so much stronger. Since Kindergarten, I've tried so many different sports but never really liked them or was excited to go to practices, games, etc. I always wanted to have a sport that I loved but I didn't think any of them were right for me. My friend once forced me to go workout with her at Adira Fitness and I though why not try it? Going to that workout was one of the best decisions I've made. I now go every week and have gotten stronger every single day because of it. It's not just the workouts that are awesome, the trainer, equipment, and environment of the gym are amazing. Ami is one of the most motivational people I've met. When I don't think I can lift one more pound, she talks to me and helps me get through that wall I'm stuck behind. You know what I love the most about Adira Fitness? Ami's ability to push me further than any other gym or class can do for me. The first day I worked out there, I thought, "wow, I'm in trouble." The warm up was more than I did when I would go to the weight room at my gym. I used to wander around an do a little of this and a few unweighted squats, and call it a successful day. Now, I'm actually working harder and getting stronger! I work out at 5:30 a.m. and I love it! The last 10 years has been all about my family and I've loved every minute of it. I just turned 40 and the 5 o'clock hour is just about me and my fitness. I am actually unhappy when I miss a class. What? I also love my fellow gym goers in the early morning hours. They have been training with Ami longer and they are such a motivation for me. Her classes feel like personal training sessions, which is amazing for the price. I am so glad that I joined Adira 7 months ago!! I had been looking for new ways to train for Water Polo and I found Adira. When I was looking for a trainer, I wanted to learn how to lift safely and correctly as well as see big improvements in my overall strength and mobility. I am excited to train there and look forward to every session. Ami has built such a great gym with great people. It's a judgement free area and everyone is there to better themselves and work hard. Things happen for a reason.. About 2 years ago a personal trainer I was working with quit. I was on the fence about getting another and then I was next to Ami at Yoga. She invited me to her gym and her space just CLICKED for me. I never thought I'd be lifting and doing the moves I do. My strength, definition in my body and confidence have increased. I genuinely look forward to attending her small group classes. Everyone is friendly and supportive. Her gym is not intimidating. I can now walk into any gym and have the confidence about knowing what I'm doing because Ami has taught me the proper and safe technique to lifting heavy. Ami's enthusiasm to teach makes it FUN! As a woman who has a lot of experience with gym memberships (over a decade of wasted gym memberships costing me thousands of dollars with little to no results) I have to say that Adira Fitness is by far the best investment that I have ever made in my health and wellness. Ami (Owner) is hands down the BEST! Ami is compassionate, extremely knowledgeable, and someone that I look forward to seeing 5 days a week. I came to Adira as a recreational runner with no weightlifting experience. As a woman in my fifties, I wanted to build strength and find a fitness routine I could maintain. I cannot say enough good things about Ami's program. She is welcoming, encouraging, relatable, and I seriously look forward to coming to class every single time. In four months, I have seen so much improvement in strength and mobility. I could not do a single pushup when I started and she made me believe I could hit my goal of five pushups and within no time, she got me to ten pushups. As a added bonus, my running pace improved by over 30 seconds a mile. She really focuses on where each person is in their fitness journey and ensures your training lines up with your goals. With our kids playing sports, we wanted them to learn how to build strength and conditioning skills, particularly to help with injury prevention. Ami is a fantastic guide for them.
